Silesia

Silesia

The book is the result of many years' work of a known artist photographer, which he devoted to immortalization of Silesian landscape. Here the town and the countryside "push aside", fighting for Man. Whereus Man, distroying nature, simultaneously hankers after it, looking for peace and beauty in the devastated landscape. Corn is growing, a chaple or a symbolic cross is standing at the foot of chimneys and stiff blocks of flats - Man knows, instinctivelly feels, that he must survive. The book shows mainly Upper Silesia in its historical boundaries and the landscapes of the past, which does not exist any more.
